Establishment of Ramula Health Center and Construction of Ramula Maternity Wing
Our organization established and registered Ramula Health Center in the year 2014. Access to affordable and better health care was a dream for many community members by then. Having established the center, mortality rate continued to be high due to lack of delivery facility in the community. This prompted us to seek support from the People of Japan through their GGP to construct a Maternity Wing towards reducing the high infant mortality rate.
The Ramula Health Center has continued to offer health care services to hundreds of community members daily and has greatly reduced infant mortality rate. Our effort has also attracted the County Government of Kisumu to put us staffs’ houses, male ward, sunk a borehole for water supply and open up access road to the health center.
